comparsions
anybody have any comparsions0 -
Lots of comparisons
Scotch marine is lighter as a unit but one piece block to install. Tubes can be changed in a scotch marine. Water volume is lower in scotch marine. Efficiency should be higher as scotch marine is multi-pass. Water quality is important for both but more for scotch marine as it is steel.Cost is what you spend , value is what you get.

thanks
thanks for the reply, is there any proublems using a drop header on a scotch marine boiler. (it would save digging a pit). I know they work well with cast iron and i cannot see the differance??0 -
I can not answer that.
Even with a Scottish father I have limited experience installing scotch marines. The ones Da worked on were Industrial level, Paper mills, Schools, and such. So Dropp headers were not needed as they had plenty of head room.Cost is what you spend , value is what you get.
