Anyone familiar with this line of controls? I have a monster home with them on line and have problems with one of the thermostats. Are they still in biz?
Tried calling some numbers I got off the web, to no avail. Am hoping maybe they got bought out by another conglomerator.
TIA

Hello Mark?
Are you sure it's not ENERSTAT zone system? If you can, take a pic of the main Zone Pannel. SOmeone has to know something,.......:-)

Definately Enerzone Systems
I found an address for them and phone numbers. The phone numbers don't work (ones a FAX the other is for a florist), so there WAS a company called enerzone.
It appears that it was designed for the ability to interface via a remote PC and control zones etc. The HO said the contractor who started the job fell off the face of the Earth before it was finished, and hasn't been heard of or seen since.
They have abandoned the idea of doing the internet thing, and the home is up for sale, so they are not interested in spending mega bucks to get the situation straightened out.
Unfortunately, I don't think I can replace just one thermostat without messing up the control system as a whole, and I really don't want a frozen/broken million dollar trophy guest home hanging around my neck.
I think it will be everything, or nothing. Was just hoping to find out if Enerzone was bought out by another co., or if there is anything that is remotely (pun intended) similar. I will check with my local EMS resources.
Thanks!

Enerzone
Mark,
Enerzone was bought out by Aprilaire about eight years ago. The old Enerzone stats were notoriously unreliable. The AA version is a little more stable but we still have issues. I have several jobs with this system. Call me for more details.

Stat replacement
Mark, I am in WP, so I can't look at what i had. Does the t-stat communicate with the alarm system, if so, Mine WAS a DSC Security EMS300,
[url=http://www.homesecuritystore.com/p-425-ems300-dsc-thermostat.aspx]http://www.homesecuritystore.com/p-425-ems300-dsc-thermostat.aspx
It worked ok untill we took a lightning hit close to the house, it became the path to ground, so the smoke escaped and that was it.
I recently changed over to the BayWeb Internet t-stat,
[url=http://www.bayweb.com/mktg/webthermostat.php]http://www.bayweb.com/mktg/webthermostat.php
I now have the alarm is wired to the t-stat, It works great.
If there is a wired Internet in the area, its an inexpensive and easy way to go

Thanks,
Its funny, I've learned to spot both of those quickly...
If you run into either, its not good.
I guess those from the Lone Star State would say the same about Kansans
Finally snowed some today & tonight, conditions should be good tomorrow.
