Have a new 3 section steamer installed.  Natural gas, electronic ignition.  Piped in black iron, properly headered, new steam vents, new main vents.

Boiler fires properly and makes steam.  T stat set at 75 (guy likes it warm.)

Very small house.  All rads get hot, house gets to about 69, boiler goes off on 1/2 lb pressure, diiff 1, will not refire without moving and replacing a t stat wire on t stat block, factory installed.  Thought it was t stat block malfunction, replaced today.  Boiler fired, same problem.  Checked all wiring.  Tstat wire good continuity.  New t stat, hwell T87 set for steam.  Going crazy...anyone have any suggestions?

    Probably a spark module issue

removing and replacing a wire is real close to the resetting procedure to be used if it locks out.

First thing to check is whether there is a good ground between the pilot bracket and the module. Then make sure the boiler's electrical feed is properly grounded.

Next, see if the pilot is set high enough that it doesn't get blown out when the main burners are on or when they shut down. Then see if the flame detector circuit is passing the required microamp level when the pilot is on.

If all else fails, replace the module.
