I came across this nice article Hot Rod published back in 08

<a href="http://www.plumbingengineer.com/jan_08/hydronics.php"></a><a href="http://www.plumbingengineer.com/jan_08/hydronics.php">http://www.plumbingengineer.com/jan_08/hydronics.php</a>

Was curious to hear what the regular posters thoughts are? Hot Road makes some great points in the article.

My thoughts.

High efficiency hydronics starts with a heat loss, piping, control and design strategy that in the case of replacement system lowers fuel consumption by 20 percent or more. In the case of new construction the heating equipment if oil must be a minimum of 87% AFUE and gas 90%. My feeling is that no piece of heating equipment that is any less is not even in the equation.

There was an error rendering this rich post.
