Any clean-shaven "lads" here ever experience a shave with the old-time "straight-razor"?



Well I have(when I afford myself that luxury),, but I have a "pro" in that field do-it.  The feeling of "cleanliness" is unequaled,, and my "shadow" seams to stay-off longer.



Wish I could do it more often!

Straight razor?

One of the local TV stations did a report a while back about the barbers in one of the swanky downtown hotels.



Before they cold "graduate" from training, one of their final exams was to remove all of the shaving cream, using a straight razor, from a balloon, without popping it.



You gotta trust those guys, eh?

I used to have a girl that would trim my side burns and tighten up my neck with a straight razor a few years ago,  it was a real close experience

and I never got a nick!



Then I tried-it at home,,,, the Red Cross was here!!!



This IS best left to the experts for sure!

That's what she calls herself, but I always go straight home and wash out the ridiculous style she gives me. Nothing like a scalp massage and a neck rub with a haircut...

straight razors,(and the strop),,, my problem is the "guts" to use any of them on myself!
