Xmas present idea for my wife

My wife works in a middle school media center in the local public school system. They have not had heat in the media center all Winter. Last year the A/C didn't work well. The in house hvac people must be incompetent or don't care. I watched my wife buy gloves to wear at work and cut out the finger tips so she could type. Gee I'm in the heating biz I should be able to come up with something to help her stay warm. I seem to remember seeing a radiant pad that went under a desk and chair to warm anyone sitting at the desk.  Did anyone else see it and know where to look to find one???  This would help me fill the gap as far as a Xmas present for her since I don't have a clue what to get her and am running out of time. WW
