Can someone please tell me the company who makes a (I heard its called a hydrolic lift) lift to bring a boiler down the stairs. I have to get a 6 section steam boiler down the stairs and someone almost got badly hurt getting it to the first landing.
Also, what is hydrolic lift the right terminology for it? Thanks

I used the Lectrotruck
in the past and currently use the Powermate . Almost the same as the Lectro . There's also the Escalera , but you need very sturdy ends to the stairs ( no overhang on the steps ) , or the nubs that land on them from the handtruck might break em off .
Any way to split the new boiler ? We do it often with oil fired cast iron sections .0 -
Moving company
It may be cost and health effective to hire a moving company that will do that sort of thing. Call around. Also, in my area, some suppliers will haul away the old boiler and set the new one in place. They use the Escalera, nice machine.0
