I have a burnham gas boiler. the boiler is off on high limit pumps are circulating. But I think the black single peace taco thermatic bye pass that is right off the supply is bypassing the boiler. Has anyone run into this problem. There is a bleeder on it and it didnt help.

By-Pass
Yes, I think I know what you mean. We installed a few Burnham wall-hung boilers when they first came out; perfectly sized for many of the small jobs we had. But that by-pass was a real troublemaker. We did something, but I don't remember if it was disabling the pump or removing the guts of the by-pass.8.33 lbs./gal. x 60 min./hr. x 20°ΔT = 10,000 BTU's/hour

guts
Try pulling the guts out of the bypass, and it will just mix. did it work then stop working?
