Air in system

Installed a new Viessman boiler, supply side pumping, same as a hundred others. The only difference is that an outdoor wood boiler is tied in with a plate exchanger. System worked fine making hot water when the customer fired up the wood boiler the plate exchanger pumps starts up. System stops heating do to air in the system. The only way to eliminate the air problem, the system has to be at 22psi. If I lower the pressure to 12 psi I can hear the air right away. No visible leaks, plate exchanger pump is also on the supply side, first pump is approx. three feet from air scoop. Any suggestions would be great, iI have talked to the Viessman rep but he had no solutions suggestions
