exhaust fan

any help, could I line a roof exhaust fan that has metal duct after grease fire 160000 btu appx 80 feet high  THANKS

    Any grease duct must be free of any combustible material.  Seems also should be welded.  Q:  why do you want to line it in the first place?  Lining, if applied will cut down on the fans performance if it was sized correctly.  Think of it like this, grease will coat the inside of the duct and lining would become saturated and be even more of a fire hazzard.  You can probly consult you Local city Code inspector.
