Old Hydrotherm Problem

The original home's Hydrotherm HI-125B was "flame on" without the powered exhaust fan running - sent fumes and flames outside the firebox, singed some wires, etc.
The fan still operates on HI when tested with 115VAC power. The main Preee Sw was corrroded, the low tube completely blocked and corroded; cleaned and reconnected.
I am limping along with the Fan HI connected to the R1 Thermostat relay, instead of the R2 Hi'Lo relay location. We need the heat and DHW.
Do I have a relay problem or a press switch problem? Ho do I check the 2 press switches ? The Tri Delta Industries is no longer in business, etc... parts ???
Thanks ahead of time... now for the seasoned help to chime in !
