Manway source

I finally got the approval to repair a large domestic tank's manway, but am having trouble finding a source for a standard manway gasket. All I can find online is like municipal providers and giant gaskets, and this is a small 11x15 opening. any sources would really help....

agricultural supply houses sell gasket materals for all purposes, such as this company in my town:

there could be an equivalent supplier in your area, or just do mail order with these people. a sample of the old gasket would be useful. there are also gaskets for fefrigerator doors available in bulk from refrigeration supply houses.--nbc

    thanks...

I will try them tomorrow. someone once gave me a link to a great east coast supplier who had them in stock, but that was a couple years back now. Standard flat 11x15 opening and gasket here.

    Another source

    mcmaster.com

Type in "manway gasket" in their search. They seem to have two types, 11 x15.

    Many thanks!

That will work great! Soo few tanks that use Manways that I get all these types of calls. No vendor here who sells them and few know what they even are...
