Use minisplits for HRV or ERV?

With my old 3-ton 20 yr old Bryant AC on its way out, I thought minisplits might be a great way for me to get rid of the handler and ducts on the attic floor, reclaim some valuable space. Then I realized in a few years I'll be foam sealing the attic--unvented--and will probably then need an HRV for proper ventilation. (already have cellulose in sides of house.) So is there any way miniplits can be used for the HRV? Can you properly ventilate the house without a register in every room?
Thanks.
Thanks.
