Does anyone know how to find the volume of old castiron freestanding 3-column radiators, I'm putting a heating system in my cabin in northern mn. I have home run them back to a separate building with 1/2" heat-pex any suggestions on how to pipe? the cabin sits on blocks and the area under is unheated I tacked some of the piping up to the subfloor to cause a radiant floor effect, some of the piping is just nailed to the bottom of the floor joists, of course I will insulate the heck out of the piping, need to find volume for the glycol but need some help on how to pipe. Thanks- Paul

Measure the Volume
What comes to mind is just fill them full of water. Either measure how much goes in or how much comes out. Home Depot has graduated buckets.
