in Gas Heating
I recently had a munchkin contender put in burning propane. It has developed a hum and vibration during its initial high fire. It goes away but takes about 30 seconds. The gas company checked out the unit and said that all the pressures were fine and they checked it will an combustion analyzer and everything was ok. They asked for a contact with the manufacturer but i havent recieved a response yet.
has anyone dealt with this problem before?

What happened with the HUM?
My Munchkin Contender is burning gas and was installed in Sept'10. After a year of operation I started to get the hum. Sounds like the same problem...after about 30 secs it seems to go away. My installer said that he would come to make some adjustments but he's been slow to get here since he lives pretty far away. He said that it had something to do with the gas pressure and was not a big deal to adjust. Did your issue get resolved? What was/is the problem? Thanks.0
