Hello from an old friend

Hello fellow Wallies! I've been away from The Wall for quite a while and I just wanted to reconnect and let you know that there is life after The News. Better, in fact. I am now the Communications Specialist for Clockwork Home Services, based out of Sarasota, Fla. The company owns and operates such entities as One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning and Ben Franklin Plumbing, to name a couple. I still work from my home in metro Detroit. My main job is to continue to write business articles for mechanical contractors (our members) and market our company to as many contractors as possible. I am all over the social networks like Facebook, Linkedin, and Twitter. If you are on any of them, just look me up.



I hope to do a lot of the same things I did when I wrote for The News, including attending many industry trade shows. My goal is to be at the RPA and NAOHSM meetings in 2010, among others. Hey there!!

I wondered what happened to you!  What i really want to know is why in the world, if you are working for a Florida based company, are you still in Detroit??  Kids, school and all that stuff?

Hanging here for now

My employer wants me in Florida but for now we'll see how it goes. Yes, it is a kid thing with both in high school and I really am not a 'Florida guy' anyway. We'll see. I'm spoiled from working at home.



Good hearing from you Steve. I hope all is well in northern Michigan. I imagine things will get a little crowded during deer hunting season in a couple of weeks. Let's stay in touch -- you never know when I'll drop in!
