I heard  banging in a steam pipe so I took it apart to see what the problem was. Turns out that darn balloon boy was the issue! He sure got around!
Just a guy running some pipes.

    ?

Whatever it is, it looks small.  Is that big enough to cause the banging?
    8.33 lbs./gal. x 60 min./hr. x 20°ΔT = 10,000 BTU's/hour

Two btu per sq ft for degree difference for a slab

    tiny toy

It was big enough to disrupt air traffic at DIA.

There was an error rendering this rich post.

  • Not the cause

I heard on TV  that the story "wouldn't hold water" so i don't think it's the cause of the banging....
