IN6 Burnham boiler steam heat won't cycle on

worked fine first week of the season

today noticed house was cold..

went exploring.. pilot was out..

relit it ..turned furnace on.. main burner ignited made heat

pressure built to 10 cycled off... heat out of pipes...

won't recycle..

waiting for pressure to drop to zero again ..



turned off power waited bit.. thought maybe something was tripped

turned on..

place where thermostat comes in makes noise..

down by burner makes noise BUT no action =(



thoughts?

    Yes- call a pro

    Not sure why the pressure is building to 10, it definitely should NOT do that. This could result in an unsafe condition, so it's best to have a pro handle it.
