New Boiler with old zone valves

We had a new Peerles WV3 boiler with a honey well aquastat l7224 put in in July but did not change the zone valves. Now that the heating season is in the heat does not turn on in 2 zones. The honey well zone valves 8043e1012 were checked and are working fine. The tech who came in from the oil company said that he is not happy with the wiring and took out all or disconnected the red wires from the zone valves and disconnected one of the zone valves and said that the heat should work fine. It doesn't but on calling the oil co that the tech left a lot of wires hanging and at least should have left it the way it was if he was not going to work on it - they said something like that the tech did the best he could and if they send a guy to reconnect the way it was then they would charge me about 2 hours. I thought that this was atrocious as their man left a mess and now if I call somebody then they don't know how the system was wired up originally

I want to know if I have some recourse and the best way to get this re wired or do it myself if I have a wiring diagram. It is as I said a peerless WV3 boiler with L 7224 aquastat 5 gpm coil for water and 3 Honeywell V8043E1012 Zone valves and honey well RTH 20B thermostats,

Appreciate any help. Thank you

    Best thing to do

is go to the Find a Professional page of this site and look someone up who's close to you. There are different possibilities here and many of them would need a pro's attention. Get it done right, then see about getting your money from the oil company.
