Monoflow system

I recently installed a new boiler in a customers house with a monoflow system. The second floor convectors do not seem to output as much as the 1st floor convectors and the master bathroom convector stays cold until I bleed lots of water from the coin vent.
It is a split loop with 6 convectors on each side of the house and about 180 feet of piping. The main is 1-1/4 and splits to 1" for each side.
I figure either the pump is too small or the tees are to close together.
If I figure 8 ft pressure drop for piping and 1 ft for each convector I need a pump that can do 16 gpm at 14 ft. (OO11 Pump) seems excessive. I have a 00R 3 speed on now.
Any advice
Thank you Steven M

Mono flow tees
I just designed a new boiler to work with and old system. A friend had an IBR chart for just this. Basically each set of tee's for each heat emmiter added 12 ft per emmiter to the loop length. Also don't forget to add for elbows and tees. My system equivalent length turned out to be 350 ft. I sized the circulator and near boiler pipes accordingly. I started the system last week and it ran great.0 -
Wayne WOULD know,,,,
but I`m curious,,,, did you install a mod-con or CI boiler? Did you pipe-it P/S?
Just curious.0 -
Monoflo
It's a cast iron boiler. No it's not piped primary/secondary. I beleve I sized the pump correctly. The master bath radiator thats not heating isn't even the last radiator on the loop. There are 2 big windows in the lving room the branch piping needs to go around to get from the basement to second floor. With the additional piping and maybe the tees are to close together this is why I am not getting flow.
Of course the homeowners claim there was never a problem before. I may be forced to install a larger pump to force flow to the master bath convector.0
