Looking for info regarding a Naraco Steam Damper Regulator # 905 by National Radiator Company. Customer has one on their l.p. boiler and is spilling steam out during operation. Need to know what purpose of this Damper Regulator is and if we can find replacement product.

It might be
an old beam-balance regulator, if this was a coal-converted boiler. If so, you can remove it.
If this is an old atmospheric gas-designed boiler, it may be part of the gas train. If so, you'd need to replace it with a pressuretrol or Vaporstat, and a new gas valve.
Take a pic and post it here if you're not sure. All Steamed Up, Inc.
