I seem to have misplaced my copy of Dan's Every Darn Radiator. Can anyone tell me the btu rating of a typical one foot section of cast iron baseboard????

The Burnham baseray is 3.40 sq.ft. for each linear foot, and in Linhardt's field guide to steam heating book it shows for 7" high cast iron baseboard is 3.00 per linear foot and for 9" in height 3.33 square feet per linear foot0
