Radiant Heat Sources

Hello,
My wife & I have an older victorian home that is heated with cast iron radiators and hot water heat. I believe that this was originally a steam system, but later converted to hot water.
I am wondering what different types of heat sources I can use for my radiant heat? The original coal boiler is still hooked up to the system and the gas fired boiler is just tapped off of it. Are there dual fuel boilers for residential applications where I can choose either gas fired or another media such as wood?
