50 gallon solar hot water tanks

Any suggestions for 50 gallon Solar storage tank. This will be a two tank system (solar storage tied to existing DHW tank).

One way to go...
... is simply to use an electric heater. I've done that for years with good results. You don't run power to it and you have the option of using the element ports for plumbing.

Do you need an exchanger? Either way the Rheem Solaraid models come with or without exchanger with optional electric back-up. With four pipe connections so you don't have to remove elements for plumbing.There was an error rendering this rich post.

That's the one I'm looking at. I don't ever do Solar DHW systems this small (one collector). In most cases I don't think it's worth it. These folks are off grid and bath every other day. It should be fine.
