    Specialty steel boiler tube?

I know some people who operate steam railroad locomotives (firetube boilers). Their boilers run at 150 psi and must be tested to 300 psi annually. They use specialty steel tubes for this, not the stuff you get at you neighborhood plumbing supply company. They need to be inspected by these guys: http://www.hsb.com/

120 psi is awfully close to 150 psi. You are probably talking about stuff like this:

    Schedule 40

seamed steel pipe should be fine Ed. If it's screw pipe I like to use Sch 80 nipples.
