ptac units

in A-C, Heat Pumps & Refrigeration
Anyone have experience with ptac units?  Manufacturers you like or dislike?  We are putting in 40 units and we're looking at LG and GE at the moment.  The building is short term (weekly) rentals and the units are from 220 to 550 square feet each.

    Hi Bill

    I know Carrier makes great units.  I have worked on GE before,......Stay away unless you want to replace the boards.  Virtually impossible to trouble shoot.  If you call the factory service line they'll say "Change out the Board...

    NO Never seen LG.  Up here in Western NY,  They use the 277vac heat pumps with electric heat.  Nothing special.
