Is there any reason why I can't pipe the water pressure regulator and the backflow preventer between the air scoop and the expansion tank?0 -
That is..
really the best place for it. That way the fill valve will not pop on at circ. start up.0 -
Not only is it a good place for it, many air eliminators have a connection on the bottom just for an expansion tank, and at least for my W-M Ultra-3, the installation manual shows hooking up the backflow preventor and pressure reducing valve right in the line between the expansion tank and the air eliminator.0 -
