Any idea why in the world they did not set their unit up for use with Windows XP and laptop rather than a PDA & windows mobile?????? Makes no sense. Tim

    I have no idea either since I was still installing systems when those decisions were made.

    and I did not take it that way.

    The first IR devices looked like TV remote controls.
