Sizing Steam Boiler

I'm geting ready to arrange installation of new steam boiler / burner for older steam system. The house is being updated in that new double glazed windows are being added and additional insulation is being added to the attic. I suspect that the old boiler and the cast iron radiators are way oversized for the house in its new state. What is the proper way to size the new boiler? I'm not changing the size of the radiators.
Thanks.
Thanks.

you may be able to "play " w/ the boiler size a bit... If you are just shy. ex... rads add up to 425 sq. ft. and the boiler ends up being at 390...410. you probably might make it. yu need to look at the system on a case by case situation.0
