Hey folks -- it's been a long time since my last visit. There have been some big changes but I'll defer that until later.
I have been in touch with an HVAC tech from Bradford, Mass. who has been out of work since January and is finding it very tough to get back into the field. This is a guy who fought for our country and is now fighting to find a job to support his wife and 2-1/2 year old son.
Here is a link to his story. I have his resume if any of you are interested in contacting him. In advance, thanks!

Does he have
a license? If so send me his resume and I will check around here in New England and see what is available. With no license he will have trouble getting a job.
I am going to be running a training class for RI license starting in September if he is interested.0 -
If I was him, I would be looking real hard about going back into the Marines. At least he'd have a job with insurance, medical benefits, Commisary privileges etc. With his background, I'll bet they would take him right back in a heartbeat. He may have to make some sacrifices but at least his family would be somewhat taken care of. I wish him all the luck in the world.

If I was him, I would take a hard look at going back into the Marines with the way the economy is. At least there, he would have a secure job, his family would have medical benefits and commissary privileges. He would probably have to make more sacrifices but at least his family would be taken care of. There's nothing wrong with making a career in the military especially today. I wish him all the luck in the world.
