Mass code question
Anybody from Mass. know where in the code it says the maximum water temperature allowed in the sanitary drainage system is 150 degrees?

not have my code book here at home but I believe it has to do with boiler blow down. If you don't have an answer by tomorrow morning I'll look it up.

MA has it's own code. I thought it was 150 degrees also but i can't find it anywhere other than the section about boiler blow off tanks which is in 10.21 1 (b)

248 CMR section 10.21 Boiler blow-off piping
(1) Boiler Blow-off Tank. (See 248 CMR 10.22: Figure 1: Illustration of Boiler Blow Off Tank). A vessel designed to receive the discharge from a boiler blow-out outlet and to cool the discharge to a temperature of 150deg F or less which permits its safe discharge to the drainage system.
(1)(b) The temperature of water entering drainage piping from discharge of blow-off equipment shall not exceed 150degF.
(2)(a)2. Such waste water when it is discharged into a building drainage system shall have a temperature of not more than 150degF.0
