should you use pex fittings in walls? with ss crimp rings?

    I have had leaks

    I use to use the crimps on my water treatment equipment before the neutralizer and found that acid water very quickly ...within a year ate the outer edge of the barb on the fitting and leaked. This happened several times. I have never used it after the water was treated.
