UP 10-16's work nicely, Jack. Caveat: at times, there will be a tiny period of lukewarm water at the cold tap-nature of the beast.

    Does anyone

have any information or have used and can give a recommendation on the recirc pumps that go under a lav or kitchen sink and use the cold water for the return?

My wife's lav is over 60 feet away and with the continued increase in water and sewer fees it's time to addess it.

    Thanks in advance,

    Jack

    Taco D'mand

If the increaseed sewer and water costs are the issue and not the wait time the Taco D'mand may be the answer. Here is the link:

    TK

It is also the time. I have looked at the taco unit on line but I'm looking for actual experience in how these or other units work. I have a concern about running the hot back through the cold line and about the method of turning it on and off.

    Have you used it?

    Thanks,

    Jack

    Taco D'mand system

I attached some literature on the Taco D'mand pump. Great tool for an existing system retrofit, when you do not have the luxury of a dedicated return line.

How does one determine which pump to use? There is a coice of 006, 008, or 0011.
