What's normal water use?

We had replaced one of the boilers in this Slant Fin caravan system last fall along with installing a new condensate return tank. We installed a water meter in the feed line to monitor the water usage in the system and checked on the system today. Found that it blew through 1560 gallons of water which sounds a little excessive to me. What would a person look at as normal for a 1MMbtu system?

Steve,
I look after a 900K Caravan system, 1.5 PSI max- 2 pipe,,typically I do a blowdown monthly but up to that point I only add about 4-5 gallons as I keep a close watch(weekly) on the PH. Usually I keep the feeder off.(ALWAYS CHECKING SAFETYS)
Been doing it 11 years.

Steve,
VXT has a section of the install manual with some basic guide lines for water usage/input.
I leave them on the job and don't have one handy....but have accessed it online in the past. Good luck. Chris0
