anti-freeze

Hey everyone. I have a job where we are converting an old steam system to hot water. I am concerned about some of the piping in uninsullated exterior walls.
I know anti-freeze is an option but I am worried that the old rads and cast iron baseboard may start to leak if we go this route.
Any advice and thoughts would be appreciated.
