opinions wanted about manufacturer's mod/con warranty policy

how do you feel if a manufacturer tells you it would only cover warranty if you use their prefab pumping module that comes with their mod/con boiler.?
what if you tell them it will be used, but slightly modified. boiler pump still used to satisfy flow.?
what if they won't approve of low loss header on the system ?
what if they tell you their own low loss header will be available this quarter, but you still can't use anyone else's , or modify pump module ?

module
It's their game, and they call the rules of play. They probably clearly state that the warranty will be void if you don't do as they do. Doesn't mean that you are not capable of getting the same end result by other means, but they have the final say incase of malfuntion to cover or not. peace0 -
Run, don't walk to another manufacturer that will provide the specs (delta T and pressure loss) of various combinations to be used with their boilers. Lochinvar has suggested pumps to be used as well as pressure loss and delta T information. From previous experience, I am very carefull of using the recommended pumps. I will do my own pressure loss calculations and use the pump that will give me between 30 and 35F Delta T to the boiler for maximum economy.0
