Leaking Cast Iron Radiator

Member Posts: 1
Any tips on sealing cast iron hot water radiators that are leaking at the section joints? Hydraulic pressure? Propoxy 20? How were these sections joined originally? There are no braces or bolts on the outside.
Thanks!
Thanks!

sections joined originally
They will have "close" L&R hand "straight" threaded nipples. These nipples had interior "cogs" you could grip with a special long "key" type wrench inserted into either end section.
Sometimes they had a thin gasket between the sections,, but typically the "mating faces" were machined so well a gasket was not required.
Edit- Burnham still has these wrenches available to purchase, so you`ll have to disassemble & clean to see what`s required.
NOT an easy job but possible,, however Good Luck! ;-)
