Mc & M date code question

in THE MAIN WALL
McDonnell & Miller (ITT) 150(combo LWCO & pump/control) I can`t seem to find the date-code on.<BR>Their website says "controls manufactured after 1972" will have this.<BR>I <i>don`t think</i> its that old and I can`t seem to find this #.They seem vague on telling where it is.<BR>Any ideas?<BR><BR>Dave

    Like most OEM, the serial# hides the date of manufacture, and every company uses different methods of distinction. Do you have some #'s to share? ITT would be starting late 80's anyway. peace

    I`m not sure what you mean Bill.
    I was curious as to the age of this control, but I can`t find any main #.

    There shoud be a tag, or #'s stamped on the body Dave. Everything manufactured has a hidden date somewhere. If you can find them, and have no luck with M&M, I'd check with some of my guys for you.

    ther should be a letter with two numbers exp. K98 that is what you usaually get with miller and they have a month chart believe k is november so november 1998 hope it helps
