propane fired steam boiler
Options
able to buy a boiler with Powerpile unless you contact someone still making them for the Amish (they do not use power).
You could however have a local service company retrofit over to a Honeywell (VS820) powerpile valve (or Robertshaw and White Rodgers make powerpile valves also) and eliminate the AC power. This may however affect the warranty on the boiler.

steam
Looking to install a propane fired tankless steam boiler. The catch! I would like it to be self sufficient no 120v. The house is very rural in Maine and may encounter long periods with out power due to winter storms. I think that at one time you could get one with a millivolt gas valve, but with the new draft hoods for efficiency they have been phased out. Is their anyone out there still producing anything like this?0 -
I believe
Burnham still makes them for the amish, they are right in the middle of Amish country.0
