hot water demands

Installing indirect tanks that far exceed the heat loss of the home.
If the hot water is only used for morning showers/evening dishes.
Is it needed to size a boiler to the combined load?
(ie. 100,000btu indirect/40,000btu heat loss = 140,000btu boiler or to 110,000btu boiler?)

Indirect
Size the boiler to the heat loss. Your hot water production is only going to require about 35,000 btu's a day0 -
True.... unless
they have a car wash shower! I have a SSU 60 w/ Sparco MV and a Buderus 115-21 boiler. the storage allows the boiler lag time to not run out of hot water.0
