What Is This Steam Device?

Thanks guys! Those old catalogs are indeed wonderful. I collect and restore old radios as a hobby, and really enjoy the old catalogs, magazines, books, and advertisements for radios and things such as steam devices.
If anyone wants me to save it, let me know. They are removing the roofing and roof framing now, so it will be a while before they demolish the area where it is located.
I noticed that it had steam supplied to it and that it seemed to receive the condensate from small unit heaters near the ceiling.
That particular building (324) was built in 1945.
FYI - the building numbers at many or most military bases indicate the order in which the buildings were built: 1, 2, 3, ...

What Is This Steam Device?
What Is this device? It is in Building 324 at the former MCAS El Toro in Irvine, CA. The un-painted pipes were insulated with asbestos.

It's a VERY old Return Trap
which uses steam pressure to lift condensate or force it into the boiler.
Did you find a name on it?

Hey Steve....
I'm a radio guy also. I have a lot of old tube portables (Transoceanic) and quite a few Stromberg Carlsons (made here in Rochester)
My Dad was a radio, TV repair guy for a time and we grew up with dusty boxes of tubes in the basement. Learned to use the tube tester and substitution book early on.
What do you have?
