AC / Boiler/ Heat Coil / Networked Thermostat?

Hi folks,
I was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis about a year ago. To make our house more comfortable and to make my breathing easier we are about to add AC to our 1885 house. It has duct work to each room from the original wood furnace. Our heat is radiator hot water. The rads were added around the turn of the century. I first posted here before we put in our new boiler. We put in exactly what you all recommended and we love it, THANK YOU! The boiler is now a Weil-McLain Ultra 155 "Mod-Con" with a indirect water heater. Now, when we put in a air handler we hope to include a heat coil as emergency back up heat. I would like to be able to network in a thermostat that I can monitor and control via our LAN and the internet. We are also concerned about trying to reduce dust etc to help my lung condition.
1.) What thermostat do you recommend? (Heat, Emergency Heat, AC, Humidistat???)
2.) What reasonably priced air filtration systems work well? (High quality home type, not necessarily hospital grade)
Thanks so much for all your help past and present. Dan E.
Below is a link to images of the house before any restoration.
