How can you tell if a motor has sleeve bearings or ball bearings?

take it apart - or read the nameplate --it will be listed as to what type of bearings -why ?0 -
bearings
I don't recall seeing the type of bearings on the motor name plate. And taking apart a good motor doesn't seem logical. I am using an ICM head pressure controller which varies the motor speed. There are two differant settings, one for sleeve bearings and the other for ball bearings.0 -
call the manufacturer --or check that rating plate again0 -
