I have used
the Honeywell Red link. So far so good. Its been in for 6 months. Very easy to set up and a little pricey but definitely has its place.0 -
I really have resisted the wireless idea. It seems to be just another expensive failure point. However I have to agree that the new red link stuff is a smooth install and although more than a standard stat not out of line. Also no problems. I am concerned about changes in protocol. The old wireless stuff is now obsolete. I had to replace a thermostat in a older Honeywell wireless system. I did get luck and one of the venders had two of the old style in stock. When I say old it is only three years old. That part worries me. I like giving the customer something that is easy to repair/replace when the time comes. But sometimes wireless is the only way without removing wallboard.0
