  • OT..monday oxymoron?

While reworking a used fishing boat trailer, my neighbor offered some of his wire rope. Upon reading the spool label.. " Aircraft cable" ' not for to use in aircraft'...
Of course, made in china.. However, there isn't any rating capacity on it. Isn't there laws that must printed? Why not just say wire rope?

This is not intended to be a life preserving device

always wear safety glasses when using this product.

And no the warranty does not cover that.

    My fave

is the wife's new hair dryer..says "do not use while bathing"

Thank god, because I so TOTALLY forget that part when I am in the tub...
  • helmut

Paid 125.00 for a really nice new helmut at the Harley Davidson store in NYC last year. Got it home, took it out of the box, and a little paper fell out on the floor. (LITTLE PAPER.) It said..."This product should never be worn when riding a moving vehicle of any sort," or something like that.
    Go figure.

    I agree

At least that one I agree with. But that's just tech advancement.

    duct tape

I just got back from stripping a bunch off - sort of Red Green installation technique - and fired up the computer to add to this thread, only to find you post.

I guess it's good for ducks but it ain't much use for ducts.
