in THE MAIN WALL
was killed in a horrible truck accident yesterday. Anyone of my generation who followed baseball in 1976 (and many who did because of the Bird) will remember the joy he brought to every ballpark he pitched in.

A career too short and a life ended too soon.

Rest in peace, Mark.
