    Plumbing Question..OT

I have a quick plumbing question. We have a cleaning product mixing station attached to a faucet at the slop sink. The faucet has a vaccum breaker built in. Is this sufficient (to code) for backflow prevention in a commerical building?

    Thanks

    most codes

Yes a vacuum breaker commercial faucet is acceptable backflow prevention in New York City in most applications and to the best of my knowledge we have the toughest codes.

The built in vac breaker is all that is required to meet code. An RPZ is an added bonus but not required on a mop sink faucet.
