Insulate wet steam returns?

We moved some radiators and are tuning up and detailing a client's steam heating system. I know that all the steam supply lines need to be insulated, but what about the wet return that runs near the floor in the basement and the drops into it? Thanks for your advice.

When insulating
We always insulate the returns . The hotter the water is going back to the boiler ,the less energy is needed to make it steam . When water cools it also absorbs CO2 ,Added to water it carbonic acid , not good for the piping .
