geothermal heating electrical usage ratio

how to phrase this, but isn't there some ratio of electrical usage involved with geothermal heat?
The amount of electricity used to run the geothermal compressor, pumps and what not, compared to the amount of electricity used in plain ol' electric heat, to produce the same amount of heat.
What is a "normal" ratio... water to water?
Water to air?
thank you

3.41 BTUS
per watt is what you get from electricity when you are producing heat from resistance. COP (Coefficient of performance)tells you how many btu's you are getting per watt in a heat pump. With a COP of 3 you are getting 3 times the btu's per watt as resistance. geothermal systems usually get somewhere between 3 and 5 COP.0 -
thank you
that is exactly what I was looking for0
