when using surge ex on steam retro fits does anyone know the pros & cons of the effect it may have on steam valves or vents

    None, that I know of.....................

    been using it myself for 15+ years on every steam job that I do. Skim it first and then add and forget it. Funny how on some boilers the green will stay for a couple of years and some only one, but never any problems with valves or vents. John@Reliable
